Only a day after iOS 4.2 was officially released the rumours are starting up on iOS 4.3's release! It seems that common speculation is pointing to a rumoured December event. This update may not include any new 'amazing' features but instead it may enable subscription services to newspapers and magazines.

A Daily Newspaper just for the iPad?
Steve Jobs and Rupert Murdoch have reportedly been working for several months on creating a download only daily newspaper called aptly enough - 'The Daily'. It's reported that this app will cost $0.99 per week. It's expected that this new venture will be officially announced by months end.Read all about it here.

Check out some of the stories here, here, here, here, and here.
Thinner, Carbon Fiber iPad?
iPad iOS 4.2 already Jailbroken
iOS 4.2 has not even been released yet, and already the jailbreak community is ready to punch a hole through it's defences and unlock the iPad's true potential. It's been a cat-and-mouse game from the beginning with all of Apple's iDevices. It seems the more they try and lock it down, the more determined people are to jailbreak it. Anyway, when the new iOS drops (probably next Wednesday) there will be a jailbreak option available for those who wish to partake.Find out more here.

Rumours: iPad supposed to have a Gyroscope
According to an article from EE Times, it looks like the iPad may have been designed to posses a gyroscope, just like the iPhone 4 has. It seems that Apple may have been testing out a previous gyroscope chip in the iPad prototype. The iPad's circuit board has evidence of the position the gyro-chip may have occupied. Also the line tracings seem to follow back to the processor and line up with that earlier gyro-chips pin pattern. So will the next revision of the iPad finally include a gyroscope? Probably, but we'll have to wait and see. One more rumour to add to the list.

Rumours: Upgraded CPU in next iPad
This one is a given, but if the rumours coming out of DigiTimes are to be believed, the next revision of the iPad may use or be based on the Cortex-A9 based processor, and have 512MB of RAM.
The Cortex-A9 processor is a 2GHz chip designed by ARM, a world leading semiconductor intellectual property supplier. You can find out more here, if you like.
The next generation iPad is expected to ship in early 2011.

Rumours: More iPads on the way

Smaller iPad?
The rumours have been floating around the Internet for a few weeks now. It seems that just maybe Apple is working on a smaller iPad. There has been some suggestion that a 7 inch version is imminent. (Months away)
Camera?
This is a no brainer. The very first thing literally everyone said the moment they saw the iPad was "wait… no camera?!". For whatever reason Apple, in its infinite wisdom, decided that the iPad didn't need a camera. I believe the general consensus is WTF? This kind of thing is really to be expected from brand new Apple products. They don't seem to be interested in public opinion when it comes to their newest "secret" products. It's only after the first release that they start to care about what you and I think.
