Magazine subscriptions now available on iPad

Wired magazine has now achieved what looked like would never happen. They have finally got their subscription service figured out with Apple. For just $19.99 a year or $1.99 a month, you can have your monthly dose of Wired sent right to your iPad.

WiFi Hard Drive extends your iPads Storage

Seagate is now taking pre-orders for the GoFlex Satellite Mobile Wireless Storage. This device provides 500 GB of media storage available to your iPad via a WiFi connection and a free App. The GoFlex Satellite can stream media to up to 3 iPads simultaneously. At only $200, seems like a bargain.

Apple Store 2.0 now with iPad displays

For it's 10th anniversary Apple has begun redesigning it's stores using iPads as interactive displays. It allows shoppers to browse product information right on the iPad.

iPad factory explosion causes 3 deaths

3 Foxconn workers are confirmed dead after a suspected aluminum dust explosion occurred last week at in an iPad production facility near Chengdu, China. The company is reporting that this incident will not cause any delays in iPad 2 production.

Verizon to carry iPad too.

Yesterday we learned that U.S. customers of Verizon will soon have the iPhone as an option. Today it was confirmed that they will also be providing a CDMA version of the iPad as well.

Find my iPad

One of the cool new features that the latest iOS update is Find my iPad. This is a feature of MobileMe that is now free for iOS devices. I tried it on my WiFi iPad and it locked in on my house. Very cool goodie!

iOS 4.3 in December?

Only a day after iOS 4.2 was officially released the rumours are starting up on iOS 4.3's release! It seems that common speculation is pointing to a rumoured December event. This update may not include any new 'amazing' features but instead it may enable subscription services to newspapers and magazines.
