My iPad is great for watching movies and other media, but there never seems to be enough room to hold everything I want to watch. Well, I've found a great App that helps solve this issue. VLC Streamer will let you stream your video collection (in almost any format) right to your iPad. There is a small app you will need to install on your computer to act as a server. There is almost no setup, just tell it to run at start-up and you're good to go.

Russian team cracks iOS 4 encryption

It looks like those crafty Russians are at it again! A team has been able to crack Apples encryption for it's iOS 4. The only catch is that they need both your software backup and your actual iDevice in hand. So you can still sleep at night knowing that even with a copy of your backup, they would still need your iPad to get at your secrets.
