Apple's iTunes Movie Trailers site goes HTML5

Thanks to HTML5 on the Apple Trailer site, you can now watch HD movie trailers right from your iPad. A nice feature (If you live in the U.S.) is that by using the location service, the site can also show you showtimes and locations.

Make sure you check it out here.

New iOS for the iPad in November

Earlier this week Apple finally announced that the long awaited iOS 4.2 for iPad will be available in November. With it comes over 100 new features, including multitasking, folders and printing!

Like me, I'm sure you're excited for the release. One thing to note is that this update will break any jailbreak on your iPad. So you'll have to decided if it's worth the trade off.

Another important note, it's a free update! Find out more here.

More iPads Please

It seems that Apple wants to bump up it's current production rate for iPads from two million units per month to three million, according to a research note from Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty. This is half a million more units more than Apple themselves claimed to be shooting for just a few months ago.

I suppose that this increase in production is partly to blame for the now 24 hour ship time that Apple now promises in the Apple Store.
