Today is a great day for iPad owners! The ever-crowd-pleaser VLC media player is now available for the iPad. This means you don't have to convert your videos into MP4 any more. You can just add them to your VLC app and presto!

Vimeo now officially supports iPad

If you've been frustrated trying to watch video from Vimeo that was supposed to work on the iPad but just never did, you're in luck. It seems that Vimeo has built in a work-around that will now let iPad viewers watch video form their iDevice. Nice :)
