Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris claims that Apple has completed a patch for a known exploit that allows the iOS operating system to become vulnerable to attack and complete take-over.
It is not known yet when Apple will officially release this patch but it may take some time. Apple must coordinate patching with about 15 different phone companies worldwide. According to Kerris, "We'll do everything we can to make sure this is not an issue for our customers."
In the meantime we'll just have to wait for the fix.
